2011 recep

This year has probably been the craziest one I've had thus far. So many things I couldn't have predicted happened, & a lot of crazy times were had, but everything happened for a reason & I honestly believe that. I was suppose to move to Reno January 2011, but I didn't...Let's just say I listened to the person that had my heart at the time & that made me decide to continue living in Henderson. If I had moved though I wouldn't have finally seen the real side of people, made new friends, matured more, & of course I wouldn't have been able to spend this extra time with my family. This is the year that I feel I finally let go & found a side of myself that I had hidden for awhile. I became a party girl over the summer & I quickly figured out that wasn't the real me seeing as I am a proud homebody. I've got to meet some pretty amazing people, get closer with friends that I already had, & reconnect with people I was once close with. Like I said, this year has been crazy for me, but I know I'll make it through whatever God brings me to because what's meant to be will be.  I just wanted to say thank you to both of my parents. They both bring different things into my life, but without them I wouldn't be who I am today. A big thank you to my family, every single one of them. Without my family as my support I would be no where in this life of mine. & A HUGE thank you to my best friends Corey,Laquan, Isaac, & Alexes (& Landan). Thank you guys so much for helping me through this year & every year before this one & every year after this one. This has been such a huge transitional time in my life, but having all of my friends & family supporting me 100% of the way is what has made it so much easier. 2012 is my year to shine, hope everyone is ready for this new chapter in my life :)

Happy birthday, Chad

In honor of today being my brother's 27th birthday I've decided to dedicate this blog post to him. Where to start...My brother has been my best friend since before the time I left my mom's stomach. Anything Chad did I would try to do the exact same. If my brother loved baseball, I loved baseball. Even when Chad went through his pokemon phase I was right there with him collecting those cards. My mom always told me stories about how when I was just a baby whenever I woke up crying Chad would be the first one to my crib, & that he would beg my mom to let him hold me. All of the memories I have of my brother are amazing and I would never trade them for anything in the world. Most girls grow up with sisters, sure I've been jealous that I didn't have that sisterly bond, but I have something even more precious to me & that's the bond I have with my brother. We're six years apart & I think that's part of why we get along so well. My brother tells me stories from when he was my age & I've learned plenty from his mistakes. I can't help but brag about how much I love my brother. I am so proud of the person he has become & as the days go on he becomes more & more amazing to me. He is now opening his own business on the 30th of this month (that's only 3 days away!) & I find myself telling everyone about it! I remember the days of us going to the mall just for fun & buying whatever we'd like because no one had any bills to pay. Anytime my brother would invite me to do things with him, no matter what it was,I would always say yes. Time with my brother is irreplacable to me & still to this day do I rarely ever turn down doing anything with the man. It makes me upset that  people use to say that they were closer with their siblings than I was with mine. People often mistaken our relationship because we aren't obsessed with the other's life, but that is definitely not the truth. My brother & I's relationship is one I put above a lot of others. He's my second go to guy & no matter the situation I know he'd be standing behind me backing me up 100%, just as I would for him. Chad is one of the three people I would take a bullet for & that is because I adore my brother. He's one of the most loving, sweet, caring, giving, honest person I've ever met in my life and I can't even imagine how different my life would be without him in it, but thankfully I don't have to worry about that!  On that note, I will now end this blog with a big Happy Birthday to my brother, hopefully he has a perfect birthday! I can't wait to give him his birthday card! I actually bought it back in August & I bought it because it was just perfect! Xoxo

Hola!

For my english speaking bloggers out there that means hello :) I'm starting this blog to give people a little look into my life and to also share things that pop into my head. My main reason I am starting this blog is to let my fashionista, crafty side out & hopefully inspire people & myself! A little bit about myself is that I was born & raised in Henderson, Nv, a small suburb of "Las Vegas" aka sin city. I still currently live in my hometown, for now at least. No one ever wants me to move away! I go to school at Nevada State College which luckily is right up the street from me. I am obsessed with my two dogs Lola & Doodle, but Lola (my chocolate lab) & I are glued at the hip, we do everything together. I am very family involved seeing as I have a huge mexican family from my dad & my mom's side is Italian which means small family does not exist in my vocabulary. I will update this blog hopefully once a week if I remind myself enough! That's all I will share for now, but I'm sure I will think of more later.
