Well everyone hello :) Sorry I haven't posted for a whole week, but I am back! Two weeks ago was Cinco De Mayo & I was expecting it to be just another normal night. Man was I wrong! I received a call from a girl I know saying she had someone that wanted to talk to me. By this time I was very unsure how to feel & I kept on callin' the girl back. Finally she answered & gave the phone to the person wanting to talk to me. The person turned out to be my old best friend Alexis DLC who I hadn't talked to since August 2011. Well after a few minutes of talking to Alexis we finally got to discuss why we had ended our friendship & we both realized how dumb we had been. As soon as I got off of the phone with Alexis I started to bawl my eyes out. This girl wasn't just my best friend, she was my soul sister. We barely ever fought, we never liked the same guys, we knew everything about the other, we were pretty much the same person just in different bodies. Even our families knew how close we were & they also considered her a part of the family. So when I got that call I wasn't expecting it, but it made me so happy. 2 of the most important people left my life at almost the same time & that devastated me so having 1 of them back in my life made me so happy. Those 2 people kept me whole so not having them in my life was a huge change. I feel like in the time we've been apart so much has happened to both of us & that we've grown a lot. I am so happy to say that I got to hangout with Alexis today. I tweeted her saying we should go get our nails done & she agreed so we then met up at the nail salon & from the second we got there until the time that we left we didn't shut our mouths. It's amazing to me that even after all of this time I feel like we just went right back to how we were, just improved. After our nails were done we then decided to go to lunch & catch up even more. As soon as we were done eating she had to go pick up her younger siblings so we had to separate & I of course invited her to hangout even more later today. To everyone who reads my blog I hope you all have those friends you can count on no matter what. I know I can count my true friends on 1 hand & that's the way I like to keep it! I'd love to write about all of the crazy adventures I've had with this girl, but I do not have enough time or enough blog space! Let's just say we've literally had to pick each other up off of the ground, but we've always been there for each other to lean on. Back in high school we were known for our crazy rap videos & who knows maybe Adlc Sdh productions will make a comeback, but for now I will leave you with an old video & some pictures I've collected from over the years. BTW! Mark is coming into town today, yay! I talked to him earlier today & he was already in Hawthorne so I'm pretty excited to see him since the last time he was in town I only got to see him for about 30 minutes. :) Until next time xoxo, S

Dear Cinco De Mayo: We all know what happens on this day. People my age threw parties, drank, ate some Mexican food, got wasted, threw up, & probably made some poor choices. I know from experience how that goes & let me just say, definitely not worth it. Even my own bff Corey sipped a margarita.
Dear Avengers movie: I may not have thought I'd like you, but to be honest you weren't too bad. I'm not into comic book movies & I didn't know all the characters back story, but oh well. Next time I decide to attend a midnight showing I will make sure I take a nap beforehand or just not work the next morning. If I don't get my sleep the grump Sydney comes out & no one wants that!
Dear Kate Spade phone case: When I bought you I expected you to be made of rubber. To my surprise you were made out of plastic. Now every time I drop you I think I have a mini heart attack because the dang case falls apart! I love how cute you are, but I'm just not sure you're worth the risk of my phone cracking.
Dear Lola: Every night when I go to sleep I have to fight you for some covers since you hog my bed & my comforter. Seeing as the titanic brought out tons of your hidden tennis balls all you want to do now is play ball. You are the cutest lab ever & I love you.
