As I sat here trying to think of what to write it hit me like a brick to the head...I will write about my family! This week has been a week full of family & I couldn't be happier! My grandma Maria turned 69! She had a surprise party thrown for her & of course what party would be complete without the mariachis!? I got to see my great Aunt Pauline ( My grandma's sister) & the rest of the Hernandez's aka my mexicans <3 Earlier in the week my other grandmother Marie invited me to a rebel game & dinner. My grandma has been a season ticket holder for Unlv football & basketball games for at least 20 years & I love tagging along with her when I get the opportunity. I have learned so much from both of my grandmothers. They are both so different from each other, but I love both of them so much. My grandma Marie is someone who I can count on to pick me up off of the ground & give me a swift kick to the butt when I need it. She is the person who I think I get my love of quirky little sayings from. Anytime you hear me say " You shit on a hoop it comes back on you," that's all her! Now my grandma Maria is the one I go to when I need a little peace from my every day life. Ever since I could remember we've done so many crafty things together & she is the reason why I am so domesticated. Of course anytime I think of my grandma's I think of my grandpa's as well. I do still have a grandpa & his name is Leo senior. He & I aren't the closest, but I love him so much. He reminds me so much of my dad & I love being around him. He's a social butterfly just like I am.Then there's my grandpa Corn. He was married to my grandma Marie & he passed away not too long ago. I was there when he took his last breath & all I can remember is how much I wanted him to wake up & say he was just kidding. He passed away the day after my brother's birthday & I think he did that on purprose. He didn't want anything spoiling Chad's special day. My grandma Maria was married to a wonderful man named Wendall aka grandpa Deano. When I was a little girl he was so special to me. In my dad's family I was the baby for 8 years until my little cousin Gabby was born so I was definitely spoiled rotten by everyone. Growing up I wasn't just my mom & dad's daughter, I was everyone's. Everyone in my family played a special role in my life, & they still all do. I'm the niece they go to when they need help & the one they come to just to talk. I love that! My family is so special to me & I am lucky enough to be able to say I have a great relationship with all of my grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins. I try to stay updated with everyone's lives, but seeing as I have SO much family, it sometimes gets difficult. My cousin Bre always jokes with me & says I will be the first one married & the first to have kids because I am the mom of everyone. I can't help it, I have always looked after everyone! Don't be fooled though! Seeing as both sides of my family are born & raised Henderson people I am always looked after. I can't even go to the 7-11 without someone seeing me & reporting my where abouts. If I sat here & typed everything I wanted to say about my family I'd be here for hours, so I will end it here. I hope everyone appreciates their own families & do not take them for granted.

I even got to facetime my beautiful Aunt J! xoxo
