You Drive Me Crazy

As I sit here writing this post I'm singing along to my favorite song of the week. (You Drive Me) Crazy/Crazy. The song is a mix of Aerosmith's Crazy & You Drive Me Crazy- B.S. It's one of the songs from last weeks Glee episode. I cannot even tell you how many times I've listened to this song already! If I was guessing I would probably say at least 40. Glee has some of the catchiest songs & I will play them over & over & never get sick of them. I'm finally starting to make quiet a few new friends & I love it. I've taken up running again & It's so great to be back out there again especially since It's becoming cooler, but I hate running at night. I'm not always sure where I'm going & I'm nervous that someone is going to come up behind me & I will never be seen again. People keep telling me all of these horrible stories about people getting killed at night up here & it's not very comforting. Last night on my run I ran smack into a huge police scene. 15 cop cars were at one house & they were blocking my way home, of course. I eventually had to ask a cop how to get back & he wasn't very nice & definitely wasn't helpful. At least I had my phone & I mapped out my way home. I am so thankful that the new IPhone update has a talking map (finally!) Lately a lot of my friends have all been telling me the same thing "If you feel it let it happen" & that's the way I've been living my life as of late. I'm all about the "signs" from above. I booked my ticket home last Friday! YAY! I know I've said this before, but I can't wait to be reunited with sweet ol' Henderson for 4 days. I'm even considering having a little get together just so that everyone that wants to see me while I'm home will. There are so many people & so many things to fit into 4 days, but I will try my hardest to make it happen. I'm looking forward to my trip to Target on Saturday with Corey so much. Target trips just aren't the same without pushing Corey around in the cart while people look at us like we're crazy. This past weekend I finally took my mom's advice and went yard sailing. When I was little my grandma Maria would drag me to every single yard sale she could find & I hated them! She would wake me up at the crack of dawn & we'd be gone for hours! Now that I'm older I'm beginning to like them again. So Sunday I rolled out of my warm bed in search of the "sales" & I found one that was amazing! I bought a coffee pot, J.Crew phone case, & a wolf pack shirt & the best part is that I got everything for 11 dollars! I am so glad that I went! The day before I had almost bought a coffee maker at Target for 16 dollars, thank goodness I didn't! On top of all of my great purchases I got to meet a super sweet girl! She is a social media specialist & that's exactly what I want to be! In case you didn't know I run my brother's Twitter & Instagram for his store Reptiles N Reefs ( https://www.facebook.com/#!/reptilesnreefs ) BTW if you have a twitter please go follow! Anyways, the girl & I started talking & we're both from Henderson & we hit it off automatically! She invited me to go to a social media group they have here in Reno for people in the biz that are 35 years & younger that are in advertising, marketing, design and pr fields. My first meeting is tonight & I am so excited! Guess it pays off to yard sale! My grandma Marie sent me the sweetest card this week & a Target gift card! Everyone is apparently aware of my Target addiction! As soon as I opened the card I bawled my eyes out. As I mentioned before this last week was my hardest one yet. My homesickness kicked in, but I'm better now. I just have to keep telling myself that home will always be there & I will be there very soon! October is right around the corner :) I can't wait to finally burn my pumpkin candles! It's already starting to become a little colder up here. When I went running last night it was 63 degrees. Now to many that isn't very cold, but to me it's a little chilly.  I'm realizing quickly that half of my clothes are not Reno winter appropriate. I will have to invest in some thermals, snow boots, & a real coat! I was so chilly last night that I had to wear a hoodie! In Henderson yesterday it was in the 90's, here it was in the 70's. Big difference. Tonight I'm going out with one of my new co workers for her 21st birthday! She's awesome & she went to school at Unlv for a year so we bonded over our love of Las Vegas. ALSO the Miami Heat start training in 5 days for the upcoming season!!! I've made it my goal for this year to go watch them play the Lakers! Hopefully we get our second championship this year Bron Bron!  Well I love you all & if you read this blog & have a blog please follow! :)
