I Wanna Make You Feel Wanted

As I was talking to my best friend Corey tonight I was reading him a line from my latest email from my friend Tyler & he said oh that's a good blog title. Thanks to Tyler's line " I hope you are able to still keep me updated with everything going on in the sweet life of Sydney." & that ladies & gentlemen is how my new blog title came about. Tyler will finally be coming home from his Mormon mission after 2 years of serving in the Ukraine. It'll be fun to talk to him in person & hear all of his amazing mission stories! April will be a fun month :) Now onto my fabulous life! This past weekend my old co worker Sergio & his wife made a trip up to Reno for the day & I was so happy to have them here! I picked them up from the airport at 8 in the morning & took them directly to Archie's for breakfast & then down to Legends, the outdoor mall. & of course the day anyone from home comes to visit the weather has to get crappy. We had snow flurries & cold weather. I got very lucky & avoided the snow. Thankfully! It's always nice to have people from home in Reno. I was a born tour guide. I was sad to see them leave, but I will be seeing them again soon. Today was amazing! The weather was gorgeous, it almost felt like good ol Henderson. It's sad to say that 50 degrees is warm to me now. When did this become my life? When I walked out of my apartment this morning the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, & it was warm. To sum things up, it was perfect. My co worker Carter had called me to go to lunch with him & go shopping afterwards. I love shopping for guys! I've always been that way. That's why I've always tried to dress my brother & dad, but they just will not have it. My brother Chad use to let me pick out clothes for him when he was in high school, but now he rocks socks with his sandals. I can't even look at him when this happens. He needs my expertise asap! Maybe for Christmas he'll let me pick out a outfit for him to wear & he'll actually wear it. Talk about a miracle! Plus most of the guys I've ever dated let me pick out their clothes. I love when they look exactly how I like. It's sweet. Plus they always look awesome! Sure enough Carter bought 4 new shirts & a new pair of pants. I'd call this day of shopping successful! Today as I was leaving the mall something hit me smack in the face. I know exactly who my real friends are. I talked to every one of them today & I just can't help but write about it! Sometimes I go through spurts of not talking to some of them for a short period of time, but they are always in my heart & on my mind. After today I know exactly who I need in my life & who I don't. & Corey if you're reading this, even though I didn't talk to you today you are one of those people. You're stuck with me for life! The people that belong in my life know exactly who they are. & if you have to question it well that's your answer. I'm not sure how many times I've ever said this in my blog, but I really am blessed. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, & of course my perfect animals. What more could a lady need? Yes I have many other nice things, but these are my main reasons of happiness. & today another great thing happened to me! I remembered my brothers instagram & twitter logins so I can now access them from my ipad & computer. My ipad has all of ReptilesNReefs accounts logged into it. I need a separate tablet just for the business! Maybe I will request one for business purposes! Very soon I will get paid for my social media management. I just have to have a sit down meeting with my brother & I will be doing what I love to do & have been doing for almost a year now, but with pay. Finally! :) Tonight as I write this post I'm texting one of my friends Brittany & I just want to write about it. Brittany & I have been friends since elementary school, but we go through spurts of talking & not. In high school we had classes together, but we hung out with different people. Now we're both friends with a lot of the same people & I just adore her! I never would have imagined myself being such good friends with Brittany, but I just love her! We relate to each other so well & whenever I talk to her I can't help but feel happy. That's why I consider her a good friend. She's changed so much from high school & I've told her many times, but I'm so happy for her. She has a wonderful husband & beautiful baby. Go Britt! I can't wait to continue building our friendship! Now I'm doing talking about how wonderful my day was. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week. Tomorrow is already March! Days are just flying by!

  Instead of my usual song of the week I'm doing a bible verse & a song! I rediscovered this on my instagram today & I decided to share. Prov 3:15. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Prov 3:18. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
   I love both of those! & since my birth stone is a ruby I thought it was fitting :)
